What is it?

Hivemined is an RSS reader with some added social bits. Subscribe and Follow all your favorite blogs, click share and boom it goes out to the internet and your followers for them to comment, like or reshare. Its own share ecosystem. See only the best content mined from only people you care about. Hate blog comments? Wish you could only see comments from people you want to read? This is the fix for you. Remember the old google reader? Yeah, that. I miss it and I am working on recreating it.

Who would use it?

Everyone and anyone. From blog and newspaper editors following hundreds and hundreds and blogs wishing to share stories to other editors and journalists, to information addicts who follow and want to share posts from niche blogs and sources. To a normal user who simply has too many sites to check and maybe wants a different way to share and comment on stories with friends/internet buddies. The above list may also include google reader refugees who miss sharing and commenting on stories

When is it coming?

When it's workable. I am currently a sole developer with a full time job. This is a passion project. Sometimes real work gets in the way ^* and I have to back off but know this Hive is never far from mind. I will continue to work on it because hell, I want it.
